In the mid-17th century, the Eyzaguirre family left their home in Spain and traveled to Chile & prospered...Planting their first vines in a village built by The Franciscan monks. To protect their precious cargo, the monks took to wrapping the bottles in burlap sacks. Today, "Wine in the Sack" is produced at Viña San Jorge in the prestigious Colchagua Valley. |
