Q How long have you been in business?

We have been in business since 1984.

Q What are your hours of operation?

Van's Gifts is open Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm PST. During the month of December, we are open Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm PST and Saturday-Sunday 9am to 2pm PST.

Q Do you ever substitute your products?

In the rare event that a particular product in a gift is out of stock, you will receive an automatic upgrade for the replacement of that item. We can also replace our meat items to smoked salmon with no additional charge.

Q Are the bottles of wine standard size as seen in stores?

Yes. All of our wines come in standard 750ml bottles, unless indicated to be split bottles, which are 187ml.

Q How long will the food in the gifts be consumable?

6 months from the date of purchase.

Q Do you ship chocolate in the summer?

No. Due to the heat associated with the summer season (May through September), our chocolate items in our gift baskets are replaced with other gourmet food of equal or greater value.

Corporate and Volume Orders
Q Can I create a customized basket?

Yes. If you would like to create a customized basket, order must be placed between January 1st and November 5th, and must be at least 300 units or total over $5,000.

Q How many recipients are allowed per online order?

We accept a maximum of 60 recipients per order. If you would like to send to more than 60 recipients, we recommend phoning, faxing or emailing your order to orders@vansgifts.com.

Payment Information
Q What forms of payment do you accept?

Online we accept American Express, Visa & Mastercard. In addition to those, we also accept company checks for fax, mail, or phone orders.

Q Is there any sales tax on your gifts?

There is no sales tax on food items however, we are required to collect sales tax on spa gifts and gifts containing wine that are shipped to the state of California.

Shipping & Delivery Information
Q How long does it take for the gift to arrive?

Shipped via standard UPS Ground, gifts take 2 to 7 business days to arrive depending on location.

Q Do you have express shipping available?

We are a UPS Preferred Customer. Along with UPS Ground shipping, we offer Next Day, 2nd Day, and 3rd Day Air. During checkout, you can select the shipping method you prefer.

Q Are there any restrictions on where wine can be shipped?

We ship wine to the following 28 states: Alaska (AK), Arizona (AZ), California (CA), Colorado (CO), Connecticut (CT), Florida (FL), Hawaii (HI), Idaho (ID), Illinois (IL), Iowa (IA), Indiana (IN), Louisiana (LA), Minnesota (MN) Missouri (MO), Nebraska (NE), New Hampshire (NH), Nevada (NV), New Mexico (NM), North Carolina (NC), North Dakota (ND), Ohio (OH), Oregon (OR), Texas (TX), Virginia (VA), Wisconsin (WI), Washington DC (DC), West Virginia (WV), Wyoming (WY).

Q Is shipping insurance available? How much does it cost?

Our gifts are automatically insured against loss and damage during transit at no extra cost to our customers.

Q Can you ship internationally?

We are restricted to shipping anywhere within the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska.

Q Do you guarantee your products?

We stand behind the quality of our products and services. If at any time one of our items fails to meet your expectations, simply return the item within 7 days and we will refund, replace, or exchange it - whichever you prefer.

Q How are the gifts assembled?

They are hand packed and then shrink-wrapped to ensure both placement and safety during shipping.

Q Where can I find my Key Code?

If you have received a print catalog from us, your Key Code can be found on the back cover in the blue box above your mailing address. If you have not ever received a print catalog from us, you do not need to enter a Key Code when ordering.

Q Where do I enter my Key Code?

If you have a key code that you have received either from a catalog or through a site-approved online coupon, you will have the chance to enter it during the checkout process.
